Ever since upgrading to 9.1 and even to 9.1.1, iTunes uses upwards of 98 percent of CPU (verified through activity monitor). No longer will play any video, and it takes 15-20 seconds to change songs (even on the same CD).
After spending several hours at the genius bar, was told I would have to rebuild the entire library (approximately 1TB) and rebuild ALL the playlists (several hundred).

It took my wife over two years to build this library only to have an "upgrade" to iTunes to make it completely useless.

My wife wants nothing to do with APPLE or iTunes or any other APPLE product.

If anyone has any suggestions on what I can do to correct this issue, I would be greatly appreciative.

Thanks

I would like to downgrade, but cannot find any instructions to do so. If you or any other person on this forum can provide me with a link or such, which will describe the downgrade process, I would be much appreciative.

Thank you,
