I Wish I Knew
Earlier today i had a message come up that there was an update for itunes, so i updated. Now when i try to open iTunes i get this message come up.

i have my iTunes library stored on an external drive so i copied to my HD all worked fine so copied it back to my external. 3 bloody hours later everything was working ok until i rebooted my mac and this message comes up again and i cant open iTunes.

When i click on download iTunes the Mac App Store tells me there are no updates.

Anyone got any ideas on this. its taken me months to sort my iTunes folder out just for this to happen after an update

Update......... just tried downloading itunes direct from Apple and all im getting is thank you for downloading iTunes but there is no download. Heeeelllllllllppppppppp

Further Update........Problem solved. The update was from Mavericks. So if i opened iTunes in Mavericks it added an .itl file to the iTunes library. When i switched back to ML it thinks that the library was created with the updated iTunes. Just had to swap the iTunes .itl file with the one from the previous iTunes library and will have to do this every time while switching back and forth from ML to Mavericks until ML iTunes is updated.
