Major OS X Glitch on rMBP

So, I was browsing System Preferences when I saw this:
Look all the way to the left and right, specifically the taskbar (not the dock)

How to fix?

Didn't try it but a restart solved it. Still shouldn't be happening.

True, there are too many bugs in OS X lately (last few years).

I agree.

Yet it does seem as though Apple's priority is so extremely biased towards profits they're cutting corners everywhere.

They are not bashful about putting themselves first.
