Major Photoshop Issue: HELP

Hello, I am having a major photoshop issue in lion. After launching photoshop in lion, i am unable to open a new file or saved file. I have the most current version... The window that displays the actual canvas is not appearing. I have tried "bring all to front," "show all windows, etc" in both photoshop and lion, rebooting, relaunching, etc. No fix. Is anyone having this issue? Am I overlooking something? HELP!
