First, I've been looking for days for a solution to this. I'm afraid if I follow advice that doesn't directly relate to my issue, I'll lose some or all of the content of my iPhone.

Background info:

I use a PC, and an iPhone 4. My phone is currently synced to an older PC, but this PC is essentially inaccessible - it won't run properly, therefore I can't access it to sync, backup, etc.

What I'm trying to do:

I want to sync my iPhone with my new computer.

The problem:

The info I find either involves going into folders and manually copying and editing and changing values, which is over my head, or it's Mac-specific. I'm afraid if I don't find correct, specific instructions on how to move my phone to my new computer, I'll lose everything.

I don't really have music on my phone, at least not that I'm worried about. I need to make sure I don't lose my contacts, settings, email, notes, apps etc.

Any ideas? Please don't flame me or troll me - I don't usually resort to asking for forum help, and I HAVE looked. Everything seems a bit different from what I'm trying to do.
