Sometimes, when I am typing a message in Adium (or other applications), a popup will come up. Recently it's been to tell me that Yahoo IM has been disconnected, and while I'd like to be told that as soon as it happens and be given the option to reconnect, most of my contacts are on AIM, and I simply do not like my actions to be interrupted.
Is there a way to make popups in OS X all behave like sticky Growl alerts that appear in front of my window and give me buttons to press, but don't steal my keyboard focus?
