I have two drives mounted in my Mac Pro. One is the OS and one is Storage.

I'd like the 'Documents', 'Music', 'Pictures', 'Movies', etc folders that are in the home directory to point to an identicial folder in the Storage drive. I can do aliases, but they lose their icon shape to distinguish them. Any ideas how to solve?

you can copy the icons from the original folders and paste them on the alias folders. You do this via the get info window.
1. select the original folder and choose file>get info, click on the icon at the top and go to edit>copy
2. get info on the alias and click on the icon at the top. edit>paste

also, if you ever want to return the icon that was there before, go to the get info window, select the icon, and choose edit>cut
