make firewire wireless possible?

is it possible to make a firewire connected device wireless? I want to make a external iSight wireless. And how will i do this with power? Is there any way to just connect a sort of firewire hub who sends the signal to my mac? I mean, there must be a connection between the firewire hub or anything like this and the iSight and the firewire hub and the power outlet.

Help is much appreciated! :)
