Basically is there a way to set up OSX to use regular function keys in a program specified, and then return to normal special functions when that program is closed?
An application that costs 10 called Function Key Mapper will allow you to
-Use the F1 to F19 function keys and combine them with the shift, control, option and command keys to define your own shortcuts.
-Create up to 95 different shortcut combinations.
-Associate any shortcut combination with as many applications, files and folders as you want.
