Make GIF Play

I used to know a command and have forgotten it, to make a Gif play in Mac OS, without opening a browser. It was like, Command + Return or something like this. I tried but can't seem to recall it. If anyone knows, thanks so much.

Have you tried hitting the space bar when the file is selected in Finder to bring up quicklook?
