Make install CD rather than DVD

I have osx 10.5 dvd. Can i put the Dmg on multiple CDs and still be able to boot and install from them?
 
I really dont think you can, since you would need to rewrite the installer to install from multiple CDs.

Why would you want to?
 
im trying to do a hackintosh but my box that i want to install it on does not have a DVD drive only cd
