Hello,

I updated the 3GS to ios 5, it is not particularly slower than before, but comparing to my friend iPod, her applications launch more rapidly than on my iphone. It is not painfully slow, just a bit so you can notice the difference between two different devices.

So, I was wondering, if I were to erase all my music (6.9 GB, iPhone 16GB, free space 5.2 GB) would the iphone run better/faster?

Thank yoU !

It may be a little faster if you do a restore than re load over your content. What generation was your friends iPod?

I believe it is an iPod 3rd gen, but when I compared we were both on an older ios (not the recent one).
The difference I found was when browsing through the music library, looking at pictures ... and also, the camera takes (to my opinion) a longer time to launch and be ready to take the picture.

Thanks :)
