Hi all

How can you make the iPod more silent? Last I was listening to the lowest volume setting, but it was still too loud. I tried everything from searching an equalizer setting and turning on and off the volume control, but still couldn't find anything.

Are there perhaps any programs out there which could control this?

Thanks!

Thanks for your answer, but unfortunately it doesn't work. It's still too loud.

Do you have another iPod to compare it with? Also my speaker seems much louder after the iOS 5 update.

I noticed it when I bought new Apple earbuds. I don't remember my first pair was this loud.

You can try to use some earphone with sound controller. Like as Sennheiser PX 200 II.

New earbuds won't happen, just bought these...

Yeah played around with it and "deep" gives the lowest volume (eq off is louder).

Is there perhaps any way to manually adjust the eq's?

Thanks for the help!

I use a volume leveler that lets you control the volume when plugged into headphones otherwise if I connect it directly it is too loud even when the volume level is at its lowest.
