Somewhere
I decided to try safari 3 again after I got Leopard, I like it except for one thing, some links will open in a new window that in other browsers would open in a new tab. is there any way to make Safari do this by default without having to command click on the links?

Not that I know of, and I have been looking for quite some time. I have since gotten quite used to just Command Clicking on every link, but it would be nice to not have to.

I'm not sure where I found this, but it works for me. Type (or copy) this code in Terminal.

defaults write com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool true

this is for safari 3.1, forces new windows to open in tabs.
