ok so when i launch safari, i want it to no open up my last session, instead to open up a brand new window, as my homepage, google. plz help

that doesn't answer my question.... i want it to not open my last session, witch it still does.

In Safari Preferences > General > Safari opens with: > change it to "A new window" and follow the instructions in the link in my post on setting up the homepage you want Safari to open.

can't do that, its not an option. I'm on version 5.1.7 if that helps

AFAIC remember, that option was in 5.1.7, it's in 5.1.9 and 6.0.4. What are you seeing in the drop down menu option of "Safari opens with"? There should be two options, "A new window" and "All windows from last session".
You should run Software Update to get the latest Safari version for your Mac.

Is that not just the "Resume" feature in Lion? Every app opens with the same documents it had when you quit it.

You can turn it off globally in System Preference > General. If you just want to turn it off for Safari, but not for other apps, that's a bit more involved. But there are many web pages devoted to disabling Resume.
