I just wanted to know how to make sound come out of my built in powerbook's speakers and my external ones... that'd have a pretty sweet effect. I figured it would come with a software solution so I posted it here.

Note: I saw the other thread about this, but nobody knew a way to do it without USB speakers. Anybody know of an app maybe? Like those 'alarm' apps for laptops will disable the headphone jack when they go off... maybe something similar to that.

i know that on my old version of bootcamp this indeed was the case. kinda nice in a way as it added more speakers. i think it was a driver issue and dont know how to do it for os x

yeah, it must be possible seeming as it was a 'bug' with early bootcamp.
of course, it would be best if you could turn this 'feature' on and off.
