Make TouchBar less sensitive without turning it off?

Hey guys—
Has anyone found a way to add any sort of delay or something to TouchBar to eliminate false taps?

It seems like since if you have to look at it to do anything, a delay would be a great start to stopping false taps. Maybe?

I was secretly hoping they'd add some sort of pressure sensitivity or force-touch to the 2017 update but I'm still not sure about this.
