When in sleep mode with my mac studio, USB peripherals stay powered and lit up. keyboard backlight, elgato streamdeck, my mouse. lights stay on all these devices and they keep getting powered even if mac is asleep. anyway to fix?

I've not had this problem on the Mac, but on my Windows box I can not get it to stay in hibernate or sleep mode. The RGB fan lights, keyboard and mouse lights pop back on after a few minutes after hitting hibernate or sleep.

I'm pretty sure it's a problem if USB-connected hard drives dismount when the Mac goes to sleep as the "Sleep" condition isn't an "Off" condition.

Shut down and the bus-power will turn off.
