for some reason, all my wmv files default to mPlayer, and almost 90% of them dont play in mPlayer, and no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to get them to default to WMP... any ideas?

make WMV files default to WMPlayer?

Try this.
1) Right click on a WMV file.
2) select "get info"
3) expand "open with"
4) select "other" from drop box
5) find WMP and check off "always open with"
This should make WMP the default player for that file.

just checked, and thats exactly what its set to.... but for some reason is still wants to default to mPlayer... I can't even get FireFox to open them in WMP without dicking around in the options every time
