iPod Make your own dock (5G), (Nano)

i was on iLounge yesterday and i saw this article about making your own, ipod dock for the 5G ipod, it has pictures and detialed photos about how to do it, and it looks actually very cool, i thought i would just post the link for those of you, like me, who dont actualy want to go out and pay 40$ for a dock

Freaking HIDEOUS, but better than no dock at all I suppose if you like the Dock idea. However, as it doesn't have line-out or video-out for the new 5G iPod's it's pretty useless for 90% or the reasons you'd buy a dock.

Well it's not at all that ugly but it is huge. I guess for some people it would be nice because they like making things themselves but I would just buy a dock before I would make my own.
