Hi

I posted a couple of weeks back about my iPhone upgrade programme reservation and received one response telling me it would come on the date specified but other than that nothing else

I'm just wondering what other people's experiences have been who are existing customers and have reserved an iPhone 13 Pro Max to upgrade to.

The reasoning is:

My Apple store app says "in store by 29th November"

My reservation if I look via a web browser says "due in stock from the 29th"

And the store I've reserved my iPhone at says they have stock of my chosen configuration, but upon ringing Apple to query this I've been told "there's different stock for the iPhone upgrade programme, some for new customers some for upgrading, you could try cancelling your reservation to see if it brings it forward but we can't guarantee it"

So which do I believe or do I try my luck going into store beforehand?
