I am wanting to make an address/phone/birthday directory. I am a Mac newbie and a Pages Newbie.
I have figured out how to create the initial format but when I merge each record is on it's own page. I am wanting multiple records to be on one page and then flowing onto multiple pages if necessary. I would also want to use this for creating multiple address labels.
Also is there another database other than the Address Book.
Pages just isn't made for this type of thing. Pages only merges from Address Book & then only one record per page. You might take a look at Bento, a "consumer-level" database from FileMaker. I'm not impressed with it, but others are. The trial is free & fully-functional.
