Hey everyone,

I am new to macs, and I was hoping you all could help me with something.

Every time I download a powerpoint off safari, it gets saved as a .ppt.pps file. This gets very annoying as I have to rename each file in order to fix it, by erasing the ".pps" part. I download many many powerpoints and it gets frustrating. Is there a way to make a folder action that detects a ".ppt.pps" extension and replaces it with just ".ppt" every time something is saved there?

If anyone can figure this out that would be amazing!

Thanks!
