Making An Avatar?

I used Illustrator to create a single frame but you can open a document in Photoshop for 50 x 50 pixels. Draw what you want. Save it as a .gif. If you want a .gif animation, use ImageReady to create each frame in the same 50 x 50 size and save to a single .gif file.
 
well, you travel to the far depths of the Amazon and get the silver crystal , you need this to defeat the Avamonger (he eats all the Avatars)........ :D

you get 500 posts on here and you get one, its easy to make one, you could wipe up one in Appleworks or anything you can draw in, make in 50x50 to work in Macrumors (cause thats the limit)

OK, I have the silver crystal, but now the troll under the bridge is asking me for a password. I tried saying "avatar" but then it told me "The princess is in another castle". ;)
 
hhmmm....

Try getting 50 rings and jump into the big ring, collect all of the chaos emeralds and defeat Dr. Ivo Robotnick, then you get one... Simple huh? :D
 
Yes, but remember that after you beat Dr. Ivo Robotnik, you have to deal with all his clones that burst out of him.
You must find the meat hook under the throne room and put some SPAM on it to move the little guys (they're hungry little mofos) near the cliff.
You then fling the SPAM off and watch the lemmings jump helplessly after it as they burn in the lava pit below.
After that, you have to find the secret passageway and open it with a ring you will find in the handle of the meathook.
Open the door and walk down the passageway until you see the beautiful Princess V handcuffed to her bed.
You must chew the cuffs off to free her, then as she rises from the bed. she will slap you and say 'You were supposed to leave them there!'
You then say 'I'm sorry, I guess I should have noticed all the lace and leather.'
She then will tell you to turn around as she changes out of her dominatrix outfit to a stunning silver dress.
After you turn back around she will present you with a Grand Avatar and sing

in the sexiest Marylin Monroe voice you have ever heard.

And, to make all these odd game references relevant to the Mac community, did you know that the default password in Apple Remote Desktop is "xyzzy", from the same game I'm reminiscing about?

Edit: Oops, I meant Apple Network Assistant, not Apple Remote Desktop.
 
while I'm reading this fourm I am confused, maybe that is becuase I am listening to the Sonic Adventure 2 CD Album (completly imported from iTunes of course) How I love listening to music... la la la la la la!

Notice how this thread has no more purpose? It has been turned into a collection of raving maniacs (such as myself) rambling on senseless gibberish while the others are ploting what they should type next... I have no problem with this... ROCK ON!!!!!! :rooleyes: (I'm up way too late! (1:47 AM)

And I hope you realize that there is a 17 page thread in the comminity section dedecated soley to avatars. There's some helpful stuff in there.
Spam mostly, but some useful things too.:)
 
go without sleep i will, eh who cares I don't have school today anyway ;) I'm gonna listen to music now so I'll check this thread agian later, night (OMG I'm actualy going to sleep, lol) ;)

Some of us get serious when someone needs help and silly when there's a chance for a little harmless humor. Your avatar question seems to have been answered. If not, we'll get back to work!

Yeah I see that thread....it was way to long for me....so I made my own!!

You don't have to read the whole thread, you can just post a message and even a sample of what you're trying to work on and get feedback. Two avatar threads are a little much.
 
Man, you have to add to the avatar thread. I want it to beat 1000 before Short Films does. :D

I didn't get sleep until 2 AM this morning, but I still got up today and typed over 10 pages for my English project.

If you're really bored to death, but have some time and talent to spare, share your talent in the Poetry thread I created.
