Hi all,

I'm waiting for my new mobile phone to arrive, a Samsung S3100. Having discovered five minutes too late that it doesn't have an isync plugin I realise that I may need to make one myself with the isync plugin maker.

I've read the documentation for the plugin maker and the Apple syncML reference. I'm confident that I can get the field mappings sorted by investigating the menus in the phone, but realise that I will be flying blind wrt several aspects of the implementation in the S3100. There are questions that I simply don't know how to find the answer to such as.

  1. SyncML version used by phone
  2. databases in phone
  3. Any Javascript connection and disconnection scripts?

Are there techniques to obtain this information from the phone itself beyond trial and error?

Well, seeing as there's a stony silence here and everywhere else that I've asked I called Samsung and they reckon they'll have plugins in a few weeks time (miraculously) so I think I'll just wait and see what they come up with.
