iOS Making an iWebKit webapp accessible from Apple Watch

I have used iWebKit to implement some quick iPhone and iPad UIs. I would like to make some of these services accessible from the Apple Watch. Can I access webapps from the Apple Watch, or do I need to write a "real application" to read and render the web app's content?
