hey all,
i'm running an HTPC with desktop icons to act as my "launcher" for programs/wesbsites and would love it if the desktop icons could be made bigger (10 foot thinking) to be read/seen easier. i'm thinking 256x256 would be a nice sweetspot. i found this terminal command from 2008 floating around on the internet:

defaults write com.apple.Finder DesktopViewOptions -dict IconSize -integer 256

(followed by a killall Finder)

but doesn't seem to work in yosemite. has the command changed slightly or is there another way, perhaps a 3rd party program, that could help with this?

thanks!
