Making dmg/iso from a CD

Hello,

Here is my situation... I installed Diablo 2 and LOD on my Mac (from original install discs) so that I could play on my trip. However, the game requires the disc to play, thus I'd have to have the game disc in my disc drive at all times to play. I would like to make an iso or a dmg file that will mount, so that I don't need the CD to play the game.

Are there any os x appz or pre-installed stuff inside os x that can do this?

try Disk Utility ;-)

probably won't deal with copy protection though.

hmmf i dont think the copy protection will be a problem since the game is so old... really im just doing a direct copy of the cd on my machine and since i have legit cd-keys, it should work... but ill try that... any other ideas?

Disk Utility. Located in your /applications/utilities folder. It's the same thing for DVD. http://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage/making_dvd_copies.html
