If you are getting an error:
Final Cut Studio Installer requires that your system have 128 MB of VRAM; this system has only 64 MB of VRAM.
I could get the install to work by being able to change the permissions of the installers to Read and Write and then in the file "FinalCutStudio.dist" inside "FinalCutStudio.mpkg", remove the line
<installation-check script='installationCheck()'/>
using TextEdit.
To be able to navigate around the installer, I used this tip from one of the forums:
"Control-click on the installer package alias and choose Show Original from the pop-up menu. Control-click the original installer and choose Show Package Contents from the pop-up menu. Navigate into the Contents » Resources folder. Control-click on the Requirements Checker and choose Show Package Contents from the pop-up menu. "
I know this is not a "step-by-step" guide but hopefully you get the idea about what to do...
