making folder jpgs for folders viewable like in windows

are there any options besides the plain blue folders in os?

I have albums that I ripped, & in windows, I have them setup with a folder jpg, so I can see the album art in the thumbnail view, but in mac os, these same albums just show up with a plain blue folder.

Not possible. OS X is not Windows. The most you can do is assign a custom icon to a folder or change the label color.
