Making iTunes movies private

I'm a novice and just started downloading movies to my iTunes account. We have appleTV in the house and can access these movies on our television. What if I have downloaded movies that I don't want to be accessed on appleTV but I still want them stored in iTunes....? Is there a way to make a private file or prevent them from being listed for viewing on the TV downstairs?

Unfortunately my guess was wrong. I've tried unchecking several movies in my library, and they still show up in my iPad Remote App and on the AppleTV itself. I haven't found a way to not share a lone file yet...I'll update if I do.
