I have downloaded Ventura on M1 Macbook on Monterey, but its not showing me anywhere, neither in Launchpad nor in Application folders and this command is also not working to make usb bootable
sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Ventura.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia — volume /Volumes/ventura

in Software Update its showing me MACOS VENTURA 13.0 UPGRADE NOW

what to do?

You have to download Ventura through the App Store if you want the installer. The version downloaded through Software Update is more of a delta update.

@amitabhbansal Here's another way. Not necessarily "better" just a different way than what @iStorm is proposing.

Open Terminal, and do the following:
  1. Run softwareupdate --list-full-installer[s]. Note that characters in brackets are optional.
  2. Read the output of the command. Then run softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer.
    1. If you're on Big Sur, you just type that in and hit Enter
    2. If you're on Monterey, you have to attach the --full-installer-version flag and type in a version number (13.0, 12.6.1, etc.)
Hope this helps!

I just upgraded from software update. No issues and there shouldn’t be since the OS and Data have separate partitions.
