Making Sites

Hi, i was wondering what types of freeware apps there are to making web sites. Such as alternatives of fireworks and dreamweaver. It only need to be basic. Currently im using word but it lacks.

Hi:

I would give Freeway a try. Search for it on versiontracker. They have a 30 day trial version. I found it was fairly easy to use and quite capable. I am sure other members here will have other suggestions.

i would highly recommend rapidweaver if you're new to web design..

im a web designer, and i find rapidweaver is superb if i just need to knock a quick site together in an hour or so. it's great!

Thanks i have just tried that app but it is to limited in the editing features. Also i am after a free app if there is one. I am broke and just what to do a simply site.
