I’ve never used focus modes before, and I don’t need the “dnd” or “work” type of ones. Even driving I don’t find particularly valuable.

I tried playing around with it to create an “adventuring” one, as I hike or trail run a lot. I created a separate Home Screen with apps+shortcuts to quickly access mapping apps, different cameras (like video, slow mo, etc. to easily get to on the go)

But… is there realistically anything else I can do?
- I wanted to have larger icons in this mode but it seems that can’t be set via a shortcut?
- I often use airplane mode, but I’m not sure I want it to always do that. Is there a way to check if I have reception, and if not, enable airplane mode?

Any other suggestions or things I might be able to do to sort of make use of the focus mode? Or simply the action of enabling/disabling of it via shortcuts/automations?
