I want to use the movies cover so that i know what movies i have. i have done most of them by right clicking the file and pressing "more info", then pasting the picture i want in the top left hand corner. the problem is that i put the wrong picture in some of them and it won't let me change the picture. it is either the wrong picture, or the generic MP4 cover. Please help.

i did this, but with the wrong picture. i pressed delete and it went back to normal, but when i tried putting different picture, it reverted back to the first one i put in.
How exactly are you copying the image you want to use?

Command-C from where? What exactly are your steps? What do you click on or open just before you Command-C?

i google the movie cover i want then command c the picture then i go into "get more info" then command v on the icon in the top left hand corner.

Try dragging the pic from your browser to your desktop, then double-click to open the file in Preview, then Command-C. I prefer to keep a copy of the image, anyway, so I don't have to go back and search for it on the web, if I decide to use it again.

When in Safari, or the browser of your choice, you can also just click on "Full-size image":

Then you can right click on it and select "Copy Image":

and paste that into the Get Info window.
