If I leave my house (where my Time Capsule is located) with my MacBook Pro, Time Machine generates an error "The backup volume could not be mounted". This is not the problem.

The problem is, when I return home, instead of realizing my machine is home again and backing up right away, I have to clear the error first to restart the backing up process. This means that my backups aren't automatic. If I forget to clear the error, my day's work will not be backed up.

Is there any way to automate the clearing of the error and restarting the backup process when I get home? AppleScript?

Thanks!
