So I was reading about this 3G iPod Touch case on Engadget:
http://www.engadget.com/2010/07/28/zte-peel-for-sprint-outed-by-fcc-another-3g-equipped-ipod-touch/

Does that basically mean you can convert your iPod Touch to a pseudo-iPhone, as you can get 3G access and then use something like Skype or Google Voice to do all your calling?

Assuming the data plan will be affordable, I can see this being very popular among people who can't afford an iPhone or want an iPhone like device on another network....

If someone made a GSM one for the ipod touch, sort of like those old Handspring/Palm devices from 2001, I'd be able to do something with my 3g Ipod Touch. Maybe give it to my dad or something
