Malicious Virus on Firefox

I picked up a malicious virus of some sort on Firefox. It keeps creating extra windows when I open a new page, and worst of all, today, when I went to log in to Paypal, created a fake Paypal page that was identical except for the URL. I need to get rid of this ASAP. Please advise. Thank you.

I would try doing a scan with Malwarebytes.

This is specifically and only on Firefox. Surely there is an extension or something like that I can delete?

In the Firefox menu bar, click Help -> Troubleshoot Mode... -> Restart. This should restart Firefox with all extensions disabled. If the problem goes away with extensions disabled, you know where to look next. You could also "refresh" Firefox, which is basically a re-install but any problematic extensions would remain. I would still run a Malwarebytes scan, but that's up to you. Good luck.
