hey all
tried searching for this, but cannot. however silly question time. is it possible to get malware on an iphone which is not jail broken, for example if you visit certain websites on safari, is malware possible?

No, you only get malware on Android phones.

It's possible of course. But very very unlikely. Jailbreakers have found security holes in safari before so there's no reason that people with malicious intent couldn't.

IMO, it's possible, and an example of how it could be done was back in 2010 when jailbreaking your iOS device was done by simply visiting a website that was setup to exploit vulnerabilities in iOS.

I can't recall anytime anyone has publicly setup a website to do anything bad to an iPhone, though.
 

Depends on your definition of malware. Apple has removed apps in the past who's sole purpose was to try to steal information from users. In general you are safe from getting any type of malware from Safari but that doesn't mean it is impossible.
