Can you get virus/spyware/adware while browsing the web on your ipod touch or iphone? if i got to a website i'm not familiar with, how do i know it didn't infect my ipod touch?

also, is there a way to block ads on ipod's safari?

1) Just no. It runs a modified version of Mac OS X, which itself is resistant to viruses and all that.
2) Not that I know of.

Nobody would waste their time developing the such. It's the same with viruses on Mac OS: why develop a virus if most of the people are dumb enough to fall for simple email hijinks? "i thogt he rly wuz myy unkle.."
