Well what can I say…
Some guys obviously can't handle rejection very well.

Nasty.
:(

A man has been jailed for life for stabbing his wife to death over a posting she made on the social networking site Facebook.

Wayne Forrester, 34, told police he was devastated that his wife Emma, 34, had changed her online profile to "single" days after he had moved out.
BBC link…

She should have waited at least until the divorce was finalized before changing her status in facebook. :)

In all seriousness, he should go to prison for a while.

True.dat. Even consider capital punishment.

Oh god! you haven't even seen any evidence or met the people and already you're condemning him to death. It's not like I'm on that guy's side; but seriously?

I guess I'll never understand conservatives. (I also thought you were a Christian, maybe due to some previous post, but that might also just be me stereotyping)

Really? It was always my opinion that life in prison would suck a lot more than being given the death penalty. I'd rather have it over with than rot in prison and stuff for ages... BTWs, I'm not trying to start a debate over capital punishment; that's just my opinion:D

Notification: Tony is going to jail for a long time and won't be updating soon.

Friends: Tony is now friends with Big Nancy, Spike, MyBitch and TossedSalad.

Mood: Sore. Tony's butt is sore.

Relationship: Tony says single now but Tossedsalad ordered him to change it to "It's compicated".

TossedSalad has "poked" Tony.

Tony is now a fan of Oz and The Shawshank Redemption.

what a dumb hooker..... she should have thought of HIS feelings..oh well not now... in all seriousness... he should of just changed HIS facebook status to single...:apple:

Now that is really stupid of him, he should serve 30 years

At the very least he should be serving life in prison without the chance of parole.

In the UK, a "life" sentence can, more often than not, mean 15 years.. with a chance of parole for good behaviour after 12 or so.

It's pants.

He pleaded guilty. Nuff said.

Although I don't condone capital punishment.

If I can take a different tack... presaged by saying that (1) I obviously don't condone murder, (2) My heart goes out to this poor woman's family, and (3) I'm glad this person turned himself in....

This is a gross extreme of exactly the reason why I deleted myself from MySpace and refuse to join Facebook. When I was on MySpace, everyone was constantly bothering everyone else about who added whom, who deleted whom, who was in who's top eight, yadda, yadda, yadda. People were breaking up with other people by deleting them from their MySpace -- not even talking to them on the phone, let alone in person. It's bad enough when 15-year-olds do that, but as in this case, there were and are 20 and 30 somethings doing the same thing. And it was causing a lot of drama even when it didn't involve murder.

These kind of crimes happened long before Facebook, but I think these social networking sites still bring out a lot of bad things, even in otherwise good people.

I think you're on the right track. I really don't believe social networking sites are as great as people believe they are. I'm hoping its just a fad that will continue to die out.
