Check out this video of an incident which happened at the UCLA library on 11/15. I must say I can't remember the last time I have been more upset. I had to try hard to keep myself from tearing up as I heard the repeated pleas to cease the tazoring from Tabatabainejad and the dozens of bystanders.
Regardless of what the guy did to provoke the incident, the type and amount of force used to restrain him was beyond uncalled for. Since when does a suspect have to be tazored into submission when there are several officers there who could easily restrain him? Since when does a handcuffed suspect, who could do little harm to anyone, have to be tazored multiple times while begging for it to stop?
The actions the UCLA police officers took were dispicable. They should not only be fired, but should have charges of assault and battery brought against them. There is absolutely no excuse for their actions.
