I know when I first read the article, mental images came into my mind... picturing a dude in a trenchcoat with his bag of poop with spray nozzle going at it in the book store...

While 9 is somewhat excessive, 6 months would be too short, IMO. If nobody actually caught him spraying the food, that could lead to lots of contamination, sickness and even death in infants.

No no no, I remember the exact same story, guy was wandering around, spraying stuff on food products, he did like £20,000 worth of damage at tescos, asda etc etc.
