Managing Certificates in Keychain

I use a certificate to access my company's payroll portal. Loaded it fine into keychain. When I'm at the website, a get a OSX drop down that shows me my "mobileMe" certificate and the payroll certificate. I select the payroll cert, but it defaults right back to mobile me as if my selection wont hold. Thoughts, help, ....thank you
