Okay, so here's the thing. I have an ipod touch 2g (OS 3.1.2 and jailbroken) which multitasks well enough and I have no intention of upgrading the OS.

I also have an iphone 4 :)

Additionally, I have a set of apps which I'm now

- sharing between the two devices or
- refusing to update because the latest version spoiled the experience (looking at you "location querying" iSlots and "audio ads" Pandora - no thanks).

I currently keep backups of old versions of apps (just in case I need to rollback), but I'm wondering if anybody has any good tips for maintaining multiple versions of apps.
