managing my iphone and son's ipod touch on one account

I have my iphone, ipad, and 9 year old son's ipod touch all under 1 apple ID so I can control what he puts on the ipod. Is there a way to not have all his game apps go onto my devices after syncing with itunes, and vice versa?

Don't sync with iTunes, or choose not to sync apps on all devices.

When you connect each device to iTunes go under the app tab and select which apps you want for that device. Each device has a different backup. Your iTunes account has nothing to do what apps you have on each device.
