The detective investigating the case told the court that he had stumbled upon a vast cannibal scene in Germany involving a number of professionals.

"We are talking about dentists, teachers, cooks, government officials and handymen," federal investigator Wilfried Fehl told the court. "These are people who come from the middle reaches of society."

im so intrigued by the psyche of the victim. i mean, after they ate his penis, it's not like he could just think it was a joke... that's a real desire to be eaten. odd.

In my mind, the real problem with this is that the victim agreed to be eaten.

Manslauther is a big word for such a crime. I think it would be more politicaly correct to say 'assisted suicide and gastric disposal of the corpse' which is closer to the truth.

Of course, this is very sick but it allow us a glimpse at the human nature. Canibalism is done by more than one animal species. You can find it disgusting or not, still, its part of nature. In our modern society, we have deceided that it should not be tolerated, mostly because of religious belief while in some culture, eating the kidney of you enemy is supposed to make you stronger.

Still, I beleive this is another great exemple why everyone should become vegetarian!
