I bought a new iMac and am transferring from a Mac Mini. I didn't want to use the Migration Assistant b/c I wanted to change some things in my user account, choose which apps into install and which not to, and as well as which data to port over and how to organize it.

At the same time I don't want to forget anything important.
I'm looking for tips on what to migrate, and where to find some of the .plist files that might be necessary.

I have already set up my user account, copied my iTunes & iPhoto libraries and the corresponding library files that contain the playlist/album type of data and launched those to get them working. Likewise I have used .Mac to sync over my email, address book, calendar, everything .Mac except my bookmarks which need to some better organization first.

Anyone else who can recommend any steps, things they've done, or things I might not think of would be great. Thanks.
