I know that when the 1G iPod touch came out that several customers got theirs without the OS and only diagnostic mode.
But here's my question, is there anyway to manually put it in diagnostic mode?

Thanks =D

There probably is, most products come with the ability to enter diagnostic mode, including old iPods. However, it is to my knowledge that the method for entering this mode on the Touch has yet to be found.

dk, but DFU (Device Firmware Update) Mode is:

1. Hold Sleep/Wake and Home for 10 sec.
2. Resease sleep/wake, but keep holding Home for 10 sec.
3. If its a black screen, but lit, then succsess!

If thats to confusing google it.
