Many problems with itunes

Im having alot of problems with itunes syncing with my iphone. Here are my problems.

It only syncs a small amout of my podcast subsrciptions. Im subscribing to 15, but only 5 show up.
I purchased a audiobook "The Hobbit" which is 3 and a half hours long but only half of it comes up on my iphone.

Its a 16GB model so space isnt an issue.

Ive tried whiping everything off and syncing again but no luck. Any ideas?
